Programs

We know that it takes more than just food to fight hunger. We have a variety of programs to meet specific needs  in our communities. These programs provide assistance to children, seniors, veterans, and families struggling with food insecurity.

Mobile Food Pantry

The Mobile Pantry Program transports food to designated sites and distributes shelf-stable and fresh items in a drive-thru style distribution.

Veterans Table

Through partnerships with VA hospitals and community partner sites across the state, the Veterans Table Program provides food boxes to local veterans.

Summer
Meals

The Summer Meals Feeding Program is essential in bridging the gap for children who rely on free or reduced-price meals during the school year.

Extra Mile
Program

With a human-centered design, the Extra Mile Program aims to improve access to food in hard-to-reach rural communities through home delivery services.

CSFP
 

Through the Commodity Supplemental Food Program (CSFP), Mountaineer Food Bank is able to provide nutritious monthly food boxes to local seniors.

Back Pack Program

The Back Pack program provides nutritious snacks and meals to children who may not have reliable access to food outside of school.
